Quantities by trade, materials priced from three merchants, and sheets for your own labour, preliminaries and overheads, plus a programme template and one addendum re-measure. You add labour, margin and risk and submit the tender as your own; the employer may not rely on our figures.

How builders use it

A materials take-off gives you quantities and priced materials to quote from, without measuring the drawings yourself. Every line links to the merchant's product page, so you can swap in your own account prices.

The workbook is yours to edit. Add your labour and margin and you have the basis of a quote. Check the quantities against the drawings and site before you order or quote: the figures are yours once you use them.

Four steps, fixed price

You send drawings

Send the PDFs. We confirm the fixed price and date, and you pay by card through Stripe.

We measure

Areas and lengths come from the drawing's own lines. We check the scale on every sheet and flag errors.

We price

Each material is priced from a Bradfords, Selco or Wickes product page, with the link in the workbook.

04

You check it

You get an Excel workbook with low, mid and high totals, built so you can check every line.

Questions from builders

Can I use my own trade prices?
Yes. Every line links to the product and the workbook is editable, so you can replace any price with your account price.
Does it include my labour?
No. Add your own labour and margin, or for £45 we build labour from your rates.
Are you quantity surveyors?
No. We are not chartered and not regulated by RICS. We produce estimates for budgeting and design decisions. If a lender, insurer, funder, tender or contract will rely on the figures, use a chartered quantity surveyor.
Who is responsible for the figures?
You are, once you use them. You must check every quantity and price before you rely on or share them. Our liability is limited to the fee you paid. The full position is in our terms of business.
